Sam also leads our team of highly skilled Project Leaders. The Project Leader is the on-site manager of your project.

Sam comes to Summit with over 22 years of experience in the building and remodeling industry. He has held positions from field carpenter to production planning and management roles. Sam brings to Summit a great deal of experience as his most current role was as a Project Manager for Case Design Remodeling for over seven years. In addition, he has a tremendous amount of product knowledge and can help clients pick products that suit their individual project needs. He holds a Journeyman Carpentry Certificate from Associated Builders and Contractors. Sam is also certified, through the Environmental Protection Agency, as a lead based paint renovator. Summit is proud to be a lead paint certified firm.

Sam's family is from northern Virginia and most of his early summers were spent at the family home in Dominion Hills, Arlington. Sam now makes his home in Frederick, Maryland with his wife Joyce and two children, Lauryl and Liam.

Sam has remodeled two of his own homes and enjoys upgrading his current home. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and family. He also enjoys hiking and biking in the national parks especially in northern New Hampshire.

When asked why he enjoys the remodeling industry he said "I love spending time with our clients and having the satisfaction of seeing their projects grow from conception to completion."

When asked why he wanted to join the Summit team he remarked, "I want to be with a team that uses the entire team's combined strengths to put together great projects."
